High Court rules in favour of Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group

Date: 11 April 2019

banbury

The High Court of Justice has dismissed the appeal in the judicial review of our transformation consultation process. The original first instance decision made back in December 2017 by Mr Justice Mostyn therefore still stands in our favour.

Louise Patten, Chief Executive  at Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said:

“We are pleased with the decision of the court. We can now move on and continue to work closely with clinicians and the community in the Banbury area to develop services at the Horton General Hospital.

“We have learned much from this experience and recognise the importance of working together to understand local people’s health needs and then to plan together the services that are required to meet those needs. I personally feel that the Horton General Hospital has a vibrant future and look forward to working better with the community for the benefit of patients.”
