Help us plan GP services in Oxfordshire – places still available at workshops

Date: 23 November 2017

Workshops in Oxfordshire

Places are still available for a number of events that are being held to ask your views about your local doctor’s surgery.

Julie Dandridge, Head of Primary Care, Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “We have already met with people in Banbury, Witney and Didcot to hear their views about what is good about their doctor’s surgery and our plans to ensure that these services remain available in the future. I really want to encourage more people to come and join us at these workshops to discuss what works well at their GP practice at the moment. GP services are facing increased demand, recruitment difficulties and budget pressures, so we would like to understand from the public, how services could work better in the future.”

We still have places available at the following events, so if you are interested in helping to shape the future of GP services in Oxfordshire please book to attend one of the following events for your locality:

South East Locality (Wallingford, Henley-on-Thames, Benson, Thame, Chinnor, Sonning Common and surrounding villages): Tuesday 28 November The George Hotel, High Street, Wallingford, OX10 0BS 6.30pm – 8pm

North East Locality (Bicester, Kidlington, Woodstock and surrounding villages): Thursday 30 November The Littlebury Hotel, Kings End, Bicester, OX26 6DR 6.30pm – 8pm
