Statement following publication of IRP’s advice to Secretary of State on permanent closure of consultant-led maternity at Horton General Hospital

We have now received the IRP advice about the permanent closure of obstetric services at the Horton General Hospital. We have been asked to undertake a joint piece of work with Oxfordshire Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (HOSC) and we have contacted the HOSC Chairman to ensure an early discussion about how we will do this together.
