Postcard small

A Local Digital Roadmap (LDR) sets out the technology priorities for local councils and NHS organisations. Through better use of technology and working together, we can make sure that health and social care services are digitally enabled and fit for the future.

This is the LDR for Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West. It describes how, in the near future, local people will be able to read their own health record in the way they choose, enter or upload their own information as they see fit, and decide who else is able to access it. Clinicians and other caregivers will be able to access all relevant patient information when they need to, with the patient's consent.

The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West LDR presents a vision for digital transformation in health and care across our sustainability and transformation plan (STP). Some of the technologies referred to in the document may well be unfamiliar to some. Nevertheless, we trust that the document illustrates the breadth and depth of technology initiatives taking place across the region; all with the overarching objective of improving the quality and safety of care for our population.
